Wood is Good is a primary school engagement programme designed by members of the forestry and log transport sectors in New Zealand. The programme is based around two main aspects, the 'Be Safe, Be Seen' road safety message, and wood as a valuable and sustainable product to New Zealand.

New Zealand ShakeOut Day is our national earthquake drill. ShakeOut takes place across the world to remind people of the right action to take during an earthquake. Drop, Cover and Hold.
