Welcome to Term 3
What a busy week we've had! Check out what's been happening this week:
- Pirere, our new entrant overflow class, opened this week, welcoming 4 new learners to Kuratau School.
- Hunter
- Reign
- Ivar
- Kayden
- We also welcomed 4 other new students to our school
- Ed
- Fletcher and Hadleigh
- Madhavi
- Snow Squad started on Wednesday. The weather was fantastic and everyone had a fantastic first day up the mighty maunga. There were lots of sore and tired bodies on Thursday!
- We started our Cross Country training this week and the course is great ... and hilly. The course is muddy, so please pack some spare clothes and suitable running shoes for your children.
- Constable Tash visited this week. She talked to our teachers (Tuesday) and families (Thursday) about the Keeping Ourselves Safe programme that we will be teaching this term.
- Our school roll has hit 100 students this week!
Over the holiday break our new staffroom/multipurpose learning space was completed and it is looking amazing. We are waiting for the heat pump to go in and need to order some new furniture for the space. The last thing we need ticking off is for the Taupo District Council to sign it off as completed. Once this is done we will look to arrange an official opening of the building.

We wish you all a great weekend. Good luck to all our sports teams.
