One week to go until the end of Term 2!
Everyone is counting down for the Term 2 holiday break, but we are not slowing down! Classes are well underway with practicing their dance items for next week's Fancy Dress Dance & Matariki Cultural Feast. Check out the invitation that has come home via email, Facebook and a paper copy. We look forward to welcoming you to the school hall next Thursday 29th June at 6pm. We will be getting underway at 6.00pm. Please remember to bring some kai to share at our supper.
Reminder: School photos are next Thursday, 29th June.
Today all caregivers will receive an email (and app notification if you use the Edge App) with your child's Mid Year Achievement Summary attached. In Week 4 of Term 3 (Monday 7th August and Tuesday 8th August) we will be holding our hui a whānau - Learning Conferences. Please see the section below with instructions on how to book a time slot.

Next term our staff will be teaching the Keeping Ourselves Safe programme to all of our tamariki. Please read more about this below.
Belinda Pyman recently met with our Snow Squad Volunteer Parents/Drivers to debrief them about their roles and responsibilities while supervising our tamariki on the maunga. Given the recent media update regarding RALs liquidation, unfortunately we are still unable to confirm whether this year's Snow Squad will be going ahead. At this stage we will not be starting Snow Squad at the beginning of Term 3 - however this could change should things get sorted between the entities involved.
I am looking forward to seeing many of you at next week's Dance. If I don't see you I wish you all a great 2 week holiday - enjoy your break from early mornings and school lunches, and have a terrific time with your tamariki. Term 3 kicks off on Monday 17th July.
